Meade LX85 6x22 ACF UHTC Catadioptric Telescope (OTA Only)

The Meade LX85 6" Catadioptric Telescope utilizes an Advanced Coma-Free (ACF) optical design that offers coma-free pinpoint star images and flatter image fields while reducing astigmatism and eliminating diffraction spikes. It offers a large 6" (152mm) aperture with 1524mm focal length and f/10 focal ratio for detailed lunar and planetary viewing. This f/10 optical system provides spectacular wide-field images for the discriminating deep-sky observer and astrophotographer. Construction. The Meade LX85 Telescope is equipped with an internal single-speed focuser and Ultra High Transmission Coatings (UHTC) that provides fine details in nebulae and greater surface features on planets. It comes with a Vixen-style dovetail rail for mounting observing equipment up to 33 lb.
